The Kinmen Islands
The Kinmen Islands is inspired by my grandparents and mother's hometown. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I lived in the Kinmen Islands for over half a year. I captured the island's architecture, landscape, and nature through my lens. A physical photographic archive felt like the most suitable way to introduce the island's rich history and culture to people who may have never heard of its existence. I want to showcase the beauty of rural land through my imagery. I dedicate this work to my grandfather, the most hard-working person I've ever known.
